Space for Artists to work, explore and experiment
Coventry Artspace

With the closure of Eaton House, Coventry has lost important, affordable space for artists. Over the last 10 years, Coventry Artspace has provided work, development, exhibition and community space to over 500 individual artists and organisations.

Evaluations from our studio holders have consistently emphasised the positive impact of having a studio on their careers and well being. Apart from enabling them to experiment and explore ideas in a safe, dedicated space, they also value the professional connections they've made and the skills and opportunities they've discovered.

We are keen to continue our important contribution to the city's arts ecology, and to advocate for artist spaces, development and opportunities.

However, with the loss of Eaton House, we also lose our income from studio membership fees. While we search for another base for our operations, we still need to pay basic bills (eg relating to finance, staffing and insurance). All support received makes a difference to our sustainability and resilience in these challenging times.
