It costs nearly £80,000 per annum to provide for the work of St Michael and All Angels in providing worship services as well as pastoral and spiritual support to the parish. This cost includes the salaries, pension contributions housing and training of paid clergy in the parish as well as covering all general administrative costs and crucially the cost of maintaining the grade II listed building. All this money is provided by donations made by church members as well as through various fund raising events. Our income has to cover all the maintenance costs of the building as we receive no state support.
