About Bedford MS Therapy Centre

The Bedford MS Therapy Centre, a charity set up in 1983, provides the therapies, services and support needed to enable people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and related neurological conditions to self-manage their symptoms, helping them to live healthy, active and independent lives.

We receive no Government or other form of statutory funding, so it’s only through people like you that we are able to provide vital therapies and support to our service users.

Our therapies include: Neuro-physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Oxygen Therapy, Bowen Therapy, APS Therapy and small group exercise classes, both Pilates and Tai Chi. Our specialist gym has a trained supervisor and helper in attendance, to help you work towards your exercise plan. Our MS Health & Wellbeing Coach can help you in a number of areas, from understanding the initial diagnosis to liaising with your GP and neurology team.

We look after our users' mental health & wellbeing by offering a number of complementary therapies such as reflexology, specialist massage, meditation, Bach Flower Remedy and HeartMath. Our Counsellors offer an opportunity for people to talk freely about how they feel and what their MS means to them, and maybe understand why they react in a particular way, in order to find better coping mechanisms. We are a social hub where you can meet like-minded people and make friends and discuss issues that only those living with life-long conditions like MS understand.

Our Centre provdes a complete service, so please support us in any way you can!
