Big Issue North COVID-19 Vendor Hardship Fund
On 12th April, we were delighted to welcome vendors back to work for the first time in 2021, having spent half of the past year unable to work. In that time, they were completely reliant on your donations to this fund, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
Your donations will now fund everything vendors need to get back to work safely, including PPE, contactless payment devices and the ID required to use them, and some free magazines to get them back on their feet. It will also continue to provide a lifeline for those vendors who are still shielding until they receive a vaccine due to their health or that of someone they live with.
The past year has been the hardest we have ever faced, but your support has meant that our vendors have not faced destitution. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.
Ways to give
- Suggested amounts: £5, £10, £15, £25, £50, or any amount
- Give once or every month
- Eligible for Gift Aid: UK taxpayers can add 25% at no cost to them

I feel good having to share my money with people who need it more than me. I hope everyone has a warm hearting christmas from more kind people.
To support the amazing big issue vendors. Especially after hearing about the challenges that come with the temperature increase and people being less likely to buy from vendors than in the winter.
To support those souls in greater need than myself. To give selflessly is to receive abundant joy. Thank you
Please keep up the good work!
