I give to you as often as I can and seeing your recent Facebook post about how down your donations you are compelled to donate straight away.

This money was donated by children at Wingham Primary School for wearing a Christmas Jumper to School

No-one should have to go hungry in this relatively wealthy country in 2023 but we are not living in an ideal world so what you are doing is just wonderful and so needed

Helping others when you can is the right thing to do.

We hope this donation enables you to purchase what you need to continue supporting those that need it in the community.

Recent successive governments have made food banks increasingly necessary to a growing section of the population.

We have decided as a family to donate to people in need this Christmas instead of giving Christmas presents.

At NatWest we have a World Cup sweepstake. Part of the entry fee from each participant was agreed to be donated to the Food Bank.

No one should be struggling to put food on their table.

We can't let innocent people suffer from the horrible decisions the Tories inflicted on our society.

I decided not to send Christmas Cards this year, as times are difficult for so many. Thank you for all you are doing.

I visit shops less often so I’m not donating as much food as usual. 4 million people are on furlough so only 80% of wages paid, many will be hospitality workers who relied on tips to make up low wages. Nobody should be hungry.

I want to help people that are having a hard time. The food banks do an excellent job.

I previously volunteered for the Foodbank, and know the importance of the provision. I also know how cold it can get in the warehouses (I volunteered when Foodbank was in a storage shed in the Wincheap Industrial Estate, and when it moved to the building on the Kings School site!) Happy to make a donation to help towards the heating bill, so that the volunteers can keep packing those vital bags

I have donated because nobody should go hungry. The current government's decision to abandon children who qualify for free school meals over half time is heartless and hypocritical, whilst MPs claim taxpayer's money to subsidise their own food. In my job, I see the impact of poverty on young people everyday.

I usually put food into the Food bank basket when shopping but I’m cutting back on shopping atm

I already give a monthly sum to the foodbank but I am really upset by the Government rejection of helping children during the half term break. I hope Canterbury Foodbank can help local children in some way.

I want to help people near me who are negatively impacted by coronavirus. The food bank does excellent work.

Because we are doing zumba online so our weekly fee we are donating to either food banks or catching lives
