Rotary Christmas Street Collection for Local Charities

Serving our community is the essence of Rotary and our Christmas collections with Father Christmas are the highlight of our year.  We just love to bring Santa to so many roads in Carshalton and Wallington. Every year for nearly 60 years we have brought a little Christmas cheer and fond memories to generations of mum’s and dad’s and their kids. Many parents tell us their parents brought them out to see Santa when they were children and the folk we meet respond with smiles and many are happy to donate to our collection on behalf of Local Charities.

Small local charities have been hit especially hard. For them, fundraising is difficult in the best of times but during the pandemic this was almost impossible. Last years' Christmas collection we raised and passed-on over £10,600 and we were able to claim Gift Aid and pass this on too. Anything you could donate would be so welcome. Charities serving our community are also essential workers and they carry on in the most difficult of circumstances. They are presently starved of funds and many are fighting to survive.
