Raising awareness for cost-of-living crisis - Eating on £5 a day
In the lead up to World Food Day and to highlight the current challenges faced by Londoners with rising inflation, food and energy costs, the City Harvest Associate Board is living on £5 a day for the next 5 days.
The team is doing this to support the incredible work of City Harvest, a leading food charity based in London. The organistion delivers surplus food to over 360 charities in the city, providing around 1.1M meals per month and reducing food waste.
Ways to give
- Suggested amounts: £5, £10, £15, £25, £50, or any amount
- Give once or every month
- Eligible for Gift Aid: UK taxpayers can add 25% at no cost to them
