1. Alcohol Awareness week: CADAS Ripple Effect

CADAS (Cumbria Addictions: Advice & Solutions) is a charity supporting people impacted by addiction and substance use across Cumbria. Whether it's someone looking to change their own behaviours or relationship with substances, a family member needing support, or a young person navigating challenges, CADAS is here with compassion, expertise and community.

This Alcohol Awareness Week we're inviting you to sip mindfully and make a difference. Our mocktail, the ‘Ripple Effect’ is a recipe for positive living. A small donation to CADAS has a ripple effect: funding many support groups, outreach for young people, family resilience programmes, and one-to-one recovery coaching.

Your donation helps someone find their turning point. You will fund dignity, connection, and care in moments that matter, and just like any mocktail – warm, bright and full of heart. It shows that you don't need alcohol to create real joy or change.

People become addicts because whatever they are addicted to generates Dopamine - the happy chemical in our brains. Doing something good or generous generates Dopamine too. Why not give it a try?
