Doggy weight loss journey.

Did you know that veterinary professionals estimate that nearly half of all dogs in the UK are overweight.

Being overweight is linked to several health problems such as diabetes, joint problems, heart problems, Cushing’s disease, certain types of cancer, breathing problems and a reduced lifespan.

Recently we have had quite a few dogs handed in that are on the chunky side, mainly due to lack of exercise and bad diet.

We have found that the best food to support this weight loss is Hills Metabolic and Mobility. Unfortunately it is quite pricy at £4 a tin and £80 a bag (10 kg).

If you are able to help support our chunky dogs, help them reach their goal weight and in turn help offer them a healthy, happy future then please donate today.

These dogs deserve the best so let’s help them get there.

Although very cute, an overweight dog is not a happy dog.
