Building Fund

The existing kennel facility at our Moorlands Head Farm Centre was opened in 2016 when the charity bought the site. But they lack some very important facilities and need to be replaced. We have spent much time designing and seeking planning permission to build the new facility working with our staff and expert kennel builders. It will offer our dogs excellent facilities and meet the highest standards for animal welfare.

Generous legacies have got us on the way to meeting the costs but we still need to raise at least £750,000 – partly because the cost of building work keeps rising and partly because the conditions for our planning approval are very strict. We have to undertake some groundworks with improved drainage before we can even get the actual kennel work underway and that will start later this year.

Your donation will be spent on the kennel building project. We hope to start work on the kennels in the Spring of 2024 and have it completed by late Summer 2024.
