Dalesdown Camp for Fostered Children

Dalesdown are excited to be hosting a Summer Camp for fostered children for the first time, serving the children in the local authority of West Sussex County Council. The camp, run by the charity Dalesdown in association with West Sussex Fostering Service, will provide children with a 3 day residential trip where they can be free to be children and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

The 3 day residential stay is full of fun activities, such as swimming, assault courses, crafts, a petting zoo, workshops, a talent show, and much more! Each child receives a gift during the week, full of memories of the wonderful time they have had, including a photo album created that week at camp. Many of these children will not celebrate their birthday, so the final night is a great big birthday party with presents, party food and a personalised birthday cake for every child!

We are grateful for each and every donation, however big or small. It all goes toward the camp so that the families do not have to spend a penny.
