First Love Foundation

First Love Foundation provides emergency food, support and advice at the point of need to those in crisis within the borough of Tower Hamlets. Crisis is defined as no money and no food and over the past 5 years we’ve supported 10,893 people (of those 4,534 were children) with emergency food support. In 2013, we developed our Advice and Support project to run alongside the foodbank which provides essential welfare and housing benefit advice to those we see. Together the two projects under the umbrella programme ‘Enabling Lives’, meets the immediate need and addresses the root cause of the crisis to ensure they never have to be in the same situation again.
