Moonfleet is a special place for me
My first visit to Fleet Old Church, inspired after recently reading J.M.Falkner's Moonfleet. What remains of the place is quite charming, and in such a beautiful location too. I'm glad it's being looked after.
Great to visit the church today, for the first time
We visited the church on 03/05/2023, we were staying at the camp site at East Fleet Farm, went out wandering and came across the lovely little church. You are doing a great job keeping this little gem alive.

This quaint little church does not now hold services, but has an interesting history and is the inspiration behind the church in the novel Moonfleet. It is said there are passageways under the flag stones that lead to the beach.
