Furzedown Community Network

Launched in 2001, the Furzedown Community Network (FCN) is made up of local people keen to promote a sense of community in Furzedown. 

We work to improve our neighbourhood, making it a safe and friendly place to live. We run talks and events including Quiz Nights, Family fun days, Jazz on the Lawn, Literary Festivals and the Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on. We also facilitate and support initiatives that benefit the local community including Martin Beaver’s War Walk Map, the Gift from Furzedown Christmas Stocking Project and the Faylands Centre Garden Project.
