Appeal
Fever Pitch The Opera
Since its founding, HOT has staged six full-scale productions involving hundreds of amateur performers led by professional singers and musicians. We are particularly proud of the fact that we’ve reached more than 3,000 children through in-school workshops and schools-only performances, which in 2017 helped earn HOT the prestigious David Bedford Music Education Award from the PRS for Music Foundation.
HOT is run entirely by volunteers who believe in the value and power of quality musical performance to enlighten and educate. We receive funding mainly through grants and ticket income from productions, and from the generosity of friends. We raise ongoing funds to support the development of future productions and to continue our music education efforts.
