Distribute foodstuffs and domestic resources and other assistance, as supplied by donors, to clients according to their needs. Offer information and guidance to clients, in cooperation with partners, to support clients. Coordinate with other bodies undert
a local independent food bank supporting anyone in holbeach, fleet, whaplode, moulton and the many outlying villages. our aim is to prevent or relieve poverty in our local area by providing food parcels and other items. we also signpost our clients to other sources of support. we work very closely with our local schools to ensure we target the most needy families.
we also operate a community store (social supermarket) aimed at local residents over 60 and single parent families who would not use the foodbank but are still in need of help. the membership fee (£5 p.a.) helps to pay for the food we buy in for this.
