Can you help us care for Junior?

Meet Junior. Junior has found himself in a sorry state, and really needs our help.

As costs continue to rise for us all, loving owners are facing heart-breaking decisions, as many now simply cannot afford the cost to care for their beloved friends. Situations such as these are heart-breaking for us all here at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, but this is what we are here for, to help.

Junior is a one year old, English bulldog cross. Described by his new friends at the South Lincolnshire as the sweetest chap with the brightest of personalities!

As you can see, Junior is in desperate need of urgent surgery. The lump on his chest is predicted to weigh a staggering 1kg. Which is the equivalent of a bag of sugar, hanging around his neck, all day long. The poor boy L  He also has an ear infection, irritated and sore skin on his hind legs and groin, with hairless patches from near constant scratching. His nails are so over grown, which undoubtedly is affecting his ease of movement. We can’t imagine how uncomfortable he must be.

The cost of Junior’s surgery and care will be significant, vet bills, like all our other costs are rising, and Junior is just one of many dogs that need specialist care each month. But we will do this for Junior, and all the dogs who need us, because we must, because it is who we are and who we will continue to be for as long as we can. We can’t be there for dogs like Junior, of which there are many, without the support of people like you.

We know we are asking an awful lot of you, our supporters, at the moment, but we cannot remember a time in recent memory, when quite so much has been asked of us.

The need is relentless. Please, please help us if you can, we need to always be able to help dogs like Junior when they need us.
