Appeal
During hard times like we are all going through over this hard and testing period, the need for our services goes on. We are facing a 55% drop in our income this year, we have already had to temporarily close one of our centres, and yet we are determined to be there for the dogs that need us, now and long into the future.
Beautiful dogs like Dexter here, a seven month old, German Wire Haired Pointer, with the sweetest little character, are still arriving into our centres, and we are expecting a huge influx of dogs over the coming months, as the far reaching and devastating effects of the coronavirus outbreak start to emerge. As you can see, though Dexter is a stunning boy, it is immediately apparent that he will need expensive surgery before he can even begin his rehoming journey. Though his condition is not life threatening, at just seven months old we cannot stand by and risk lifelong effects on this young pup’s vision and health by not immediately seeking him the best veterinary care we can. We do this for Dexter, and all the dogs who need us, because we must, because it is who we are and who we will continue to be for as long as we can. We can’t be there for dogs like Dexter, of which there are many, without the support of people like you. Please donate what you can, to support Dexter on his journey to happiness, and to support Jerry Green Dog Rescue to still be there for all of the dogs that need us.
Hoping Dexter gets his cherry eyes sorted quickly and that you will work with GWP Rescue to rehome him appropriately.
This poor puppy deserves to get his eyes treated so he can then find a loving home
He deserves a chance of a good life
Good luck Dexter x
