Appeal
Our mission is to conserve Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Miss Catherine Cranston’s remarkable Willow Tea Rooms Building at 217 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, presenting it as it was when it opened in 1903, while creating a sustainable future for the building and preserving its historical and social legacy for Glasgow, for Scotland, and for the world.
We really enjoyed the tea rooms, and really impressed by it and the story
This is artwork, a building, and a tradition that must be preserved.
I saw MacKintosh’s work at the Kelvingrove Museum and knew i needed to go to the tea room. I love the idea of preserving this historic setting.
Totally enjoyed a cup of Traditional tea and a scone with my good friends!
