Rotherham Round Table

First chartered back in 1929, Rotherham Round Table is an organisation dedicated to supporting a wide range of charities and good causes both large and small in the local area. We raise funds throughout the year through a variety of methods, our main fundraising event being the annual Santa Sleigh where for over 30 years we has made a special delivery of Christmas spirit by taking Father Christmas out onto the streets of Rotherham to see delighted boys and girls – and excited grown-ups, too! The sight of the sleigh coming down the road has been enjoyed by generations of kids growing up in the town and established itself as a much-loved Christmas tradition. Restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic mean that while we are determined to still bring Santa to see you, we can’t come to your doors to collect generous donations we are usually so grateful to receive, therefore we are relying on online donations to continue our good work. Every pound we raise stays within Rotherham, and we have worked with such charities as Rotherham Hospice, Maples Cancer Care Centre, Rotherham Rescue Rangers and Sense to name but a few.
