I’ve gotten countless hour of entertainment and knowledgeable due to Jonathan Ferguson, Keeper of Arms and Armor, that I felt it only right to give something back. Dudes the British uncle I only wish I ever had. Haha. Thanks for everything

Fascinating videos on YouTube where jonathon looks at firearms both real and imaginary and demonstrates with sublime gentlemanly criticism, both positive and negative of how they would work, reload, feel and sound, just a fascinating insight into how well or badly the games developers went towards realism and context of how they would be used. He is such an affable man, passionate, informative and a joy to listen too.

Love the content from Jonathan Ferguson and hope to one day make the hop over the Atlantic to visit myself!

Went to the Museum a couple of weeks ago and forgot to donate! Thanks for a fascinating few hours – I could easily spend three whole days here.

The staff has gone out of their way to research to find and take photos of a rare helmet of my ancestor from the 16th century. Each of the staff was amazing and helpful and spent a good deal of time on my behalf. I am so appreciative!

I am donating in honor of Jonathan Ferguson, keeper of firearms and artillery. I watch his videos all the time. He's a nerd like me so I relate well! I hate it in movies and shows when they don't get the firearms correct!

About Royal Armouries

Our ultimate purpose is to use and develop our expertise to preserve, study, present and interpret the national collection of arms and armour, ensuring its continued relevance and positive contribution to public life in perpetuity. As history’s expert witness, we shall inspire people to discover and understand how many of the most compelling narratives of human endeavour and experience have been, and continue to be, shaped by arms and armour.

Our origins lie in the royal arsenal at the Tower of London. Today we are based at three sites: the White Tower in the Tower of London; Fort Nelson, a Victorian Fort in Hampshire; and our flagship museum in Leeds.
