SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL has been delivering frontline humanitarian aid for 40 years. Operating in some of the most complex and hostile environments in the world, we respond to humanitarian crises and disasters as a result of conflicts, violence, natural hazards, epidemics and pandemics, preventing and mitigating risks, protecting people from threats, and providing critically needed assistance to the most vulnerable, marginalised, and severely affected people. 

SI is a well-established and reliable, ‘go-to’ partner in the humanitarian community, widely recognised as one of the most committed, hard-working, determined, innovative, field-focused, technically competent, and principled frontline humanitarian organisations across the globe.

Today, SI directly supports over 4 million people in 17 different countries, making change for good and saving lives by providing safe drinking water, hygiene and sanitation services and facilities, food security and livelihoods support, shelter, protection, and emergency financial assistance. 

In the last years SI has played a major role in eradicating cholera from Haiti and taking the fight to Ebola in Sierra Leone and DRC, and been a major player at the forefront of providing large-scale humanitarian assistance in Syria and other countries in the Middle East suffering from the impacts of protracted conflicts, violence, and instability, helping refugees and internally displaced people in dire need of protection and assistance. SI also ensures isolated and marginalised communities in countries such as South Sudan, CAR, Cameroon, Bangladesh, and Myanmar have access to essentials including safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, food, and crucial household goods.
