Laughing Matters @ Bristol Beacon

Laughing Matters is a comedy fundraiser for SWEDA held on 30th July 2026 at Bristol Beacon, with Bridget Christie, Rose Matafeo, Elis James, Mark Thomas, Athena Kugblenu, Priya Hall and hosted by Daniel Kitson.

SWEDA are a local South West charity who for over 32 years have been supporting people of all ages affected by eating disorders. They provide one-to-one therapeutic support, a 12-week counselling programme, nutritional guidance, check-in phone calls, parental sessions, as well as a specialised children and young people service. Last year alone, SWEDA provided support to over 1,200 people across the region.

The 'Text To Donate' campaign is aimed at encouraging audience members on the night to make a small contribution for SWEDA, to enable their team to reach more people, raise more awareness and help reach those most in need before any medical intervention is required.
