Swim Narberth CIO

Swim Narberth CIO is a community-run charity dedicated to operating and protecting Narberth Swimming Pool for the benefit of current and future generations. Saved from closure in 2014, the pool exists today because local people refused to lose a vital community asset. What began as a rescue effort has grown into a well-governed, resilient charity that now provides safe, affordable and inclusive swimming opportunities for the whole community. Each week, Swim Narberth supports over 500 children and 1,000 adults, delivering learn-to-swim programmes, fitness and wellbeing sessions, inclusive and disability-friendly swimming, and opportunities that promote confidence, health and life-saving skills.
