Royal Variety Charity - Help us to help others
Please help us to help others
The Royal Variety Charity's 'reason for being' remains simple: to help and support those in need who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry. Today, that support is wider than ever.
We provide financial assistance to people living throughout the UK, Mental Health support for members of the entertainment community who need help with their mental wellbeing, and residential and nursing care at our own care home, Brinsworth House in Twickenham, which has long provided a home for elderly members of the entertainment profession.
People working in entertainment can face financial hardship, ill health, isolation and challenges to their mental wellbeing. Whatever the circumstances, our aim is to provide meaningful support when it matters most. Our work is made possible through the generosity of those who support the Charity.
TO CONTINUE OUR WORK, WE NEED YOUR HELP.

I abhor the closing of all entertainments
The Theatre, Performing Arts and the entire entertainment industry needs all the help because the government and Covid19 has left them really struggling. We all need to chip in and help because these amazing people enrich our lives. This entire industry needs to be revived again very soon, so please help them, dig deep and let's bring Theatres across the country back to life.
