We know that simple sewing workshops give you power. 

You are able to make choices about what you can wear, share and repair. You can create garments that reflect your personality, and home furnishings unique to you.

Fabric can change the ambience of a room, make an anxious person more confident and make a statement of belonging and self identity.

Buying cheap, disposable and bulk items is destroying our planet.
We focus on the resources we have in our local area, collecting textile waste to redistribute, repurpose, and to create.

We have workshops for all ages, from beginner to fibre artists, from holey sock fixes to haute couture.

We want to bring them to you! Increasingly, schools, charities and other community initiatives are asking if we can deliver tangible sewing classes, environmental education and skills share at their location. We can, and we do- however, with YOUR support we can invest in an eco vehicle to become a mobile haberdashery, equipped with machines, book and pattern libraries, fabrics, buttons, zips and skilled UP makers for Birmingham.

We can attend your school or estate with preloved clothing.

We can 'pop UP' at your youth group using fashion as an engagement tool.

We can remind a lonely older person of a skill they once adored and welcome them to our community of makers sewing for purpose.

We can bring cathartic art therapies supporting positive mental health to you.
