Rhod Gilbert's Hoof Cancer

As a Patron of Velindre Cancer Centre for the last 10 years, I have always heard incredible things about the care provided. But I never imagined that I myself would end up a patient. In 2022 however, I developed Head and Neck cancer and gained the dubious honour of being both a Patron and a Patient. 

I have now experienced first-hand the challenges that cancer presents to patients and their families, and the wonderful care that Velindre offers.  

It is no exaggeration to say that I owe Velindre my life, so my 'Hoof Cancer Where It Hurts' show tonight will be extra special for me; I hope you enjoy the night as much as I intend to.
