Restoring Wainsgate Chapel
Wainsgate is no ordinary chapel.
It’s a wild mix of innovative art, crumbling beauty, homemade cake, and community spirit—tucked into the hillside above Hebden Bridge. We’re restoring the building piece by piece, tending the grounds, and hosting a year-round programme of performances, workshops, and heritage events.
We run on generosity—time, energy, cake… and money. Your donation keeps the roof over our heads, the doors open, and the spirit alive. If you believe in artist-led, community-powered magic, please chip in—every bit helps.
