Waves 4 Hope

Waves 4 Hope represents a seven man crew with no rowing experience who will set sail in a Cornish Gig boat and row 50 miles non-stop for 12 hours across the English Channel from Nieuwport to Ramsgate in an attempt to raise £20,000 towards beating cancer. Although we started off merely mates, we will become much more as we endure one of the biggest physical challenges in our lives. As we set out on this journey together, we hope to make a difference, while appreciating each other and our ability push our bodies to the limit. Our inspiration is grounded in a desire to make a positive social impact. Members of the crew have lost parents at a young age and seen children battle life-threatening sickness. Not an unusual story but the difference is we have decided to help do something about it, but we need your help and support.
