Christmas Tide 2026

Wells Christmas Tide Festival is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. Our team works year-round to bring festive cheer to Wells-next-the-Sea by purchasing, erecting, and maintaining the Christmas lights and trees on the Quayside and throughout the town.

We raise funds through community events and voluntary donations, which are used to buy new lights, bulbs, equipment, and materials needed for maintenance, repair, and storage. All profits are reinvested directly into our work to ensure the festival continues to grow and shine each year.

In partnership with Wells Harbour and their dedicated team, we organise the annual Wells Christmas Tide Festival, featuring a free fireworks display, a Father Christmas tour, and gifts for local children.

Our mission is simple - to make Wells a brighter, happier place for residents, businesses, and visitors alike, celebrating the spirit of Christmas and the sense of community that makes our town so special.
