HELP! ANIMAL RESCUE SHELTER DESTROYED BY FIRE

What a terrible way to start the new year...

Some devastating news has come in this morning...a catastrophic FIRE at Georgiana Neagu SOSARMS ANIMAL SANCTUARY in Romania on 2.1.26.

Georgiana is an amazing lone rescuer and has devoted her life to rescuing animals and currently has over 450 dogs and many cats in her care. It has been one set back after another for her but this is on another level.

There is no electricity at the shelter at the moment. The fire has engulfed and destroyed Georgiana's living container where the elderly and disabled dogs stayed protected from the freezing cold outside. Now these dogs are confused as they try desperately to escape the cold and enter the burnt out wreck of a container but are now suddenly denied entry. A container is urgently needed for these dogs. The storage container and solar panels were also burnt out by the fire.

Georgiana is beyond devastated as you can imagine but is still managing to help sick and injured dogs as well trying to asses the damage caused by the fire and obtain estimates for work and for replacement items.

Thankfully no animal was hurt in the fire.

You can see the total and utter devastation caused by this fire and we need to raise lots of funds very quickly to help Georgiana and the animals at the shelter.

Please DONATE if you can spare any funds at all...it all mounts up.

As you will appreciate this has only just happened and so details are limited but as soon as I have further information I will post on here.
