YMCA Glenrothes Appeal: Give the Gift of a Festive Meal

This festive season, YMCA Glenrothes is inviting our community to come together and support those who need it most. Many individuals in our homeless accommodation face the festive period alone, without the warmth of a shared meal or the comfort of connection.

Last year, 178 people were supported through our housing. Many of them face complex challenges:

• 56% required mental health support
• 16% needed help with drug-related issues
• 7.6% had alcohol-related support needs

For those living with mental health challenges or receiving drug and alcohol support, this time of year can be especially difficult—marked by increased isolation, emotional strain, and a lack of social support.

You can help change that.

By donating just £5 towards a festive meal, you can help provide someone in homeless accommodation with a warm & nourishing dinner. Your support offers more than food—it brings dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging, while helping to reduce isolation during what can be a challenging time.
