Help talented silversmiths to participate in Masterclasses

Please help support Masterclasses to enable talented young silversmiths to reach their potential and gain employment

We are always overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our friends and supporters when the charity asks for help.

This year we are requesting support to enable Bishopsland to give our current talented emerging silversmiths the opportunity to learn from renowned craftspeople who have specific areas of expertise – engraving, chasing and raising. These skills are vital to perfect if these young people are to succeed in their chosen craft as a silversmith or jeweller.

Masterclasses have helped to develop the career of many Bishopslanders. We are aiming for our current group to attend 5 Masterclasses which includes the expertise of Malcolm Appleby MA RCA in Perthshire and Rod Kelly MA RCA on the Shetland Isles.

Your donation will support those who come from the least well off households. If you feel able to help a talented young person to reach their potential please make a donation , £100 would support one young person to attend a 3 day Masterclass. Monies donated will go directly to the Masterclass fund.

Thank you for any support you can provide.

Yours
