Lord Kitchener’s Memorial Holiday Centre

The Lord Kitchener Memorial Holiday Centre, known as Kitchener’s, is a seafront retreat in Lowestoft dedicated to supporting veterans, serving personnel, and emergency service workers. For generations, we’ve offered affordable respite breaks in a welcoming, peaceful environment. We are also a hub for the local armed forces and emergency services community — hosting breakfast clubs, drop-ins providing a safe & warm space, model-making groups, and supporting the Royal British Legion as their meeting space. As a registered charity, we rely on public support to maintain our Grade II listed building to continue providing vital companionship and connection, and a true sense of community for those who’ve served.
